Personality[]
Himani is a typical dramatic Indian mother. She tries to find out about her children's lives through their siblings and often quarrels with Avtaar in a loving manner. Her childhood dream was to become a celebrity, and she keeps quoting her college club experiences to the family. She is very protective as well as critical of her loved ones.
Personal Life[]
Himani was involved in her college's reporting club, and was very active throughout her life. As a mother too, she encourages herself and her children to indulge in various activities like drama, sports, dance, etc. She later becomes a nurse by profession.
Relationships[]
Himani met Avtaar in college and they have been married since. The pandit officiating their marriage was found to be a dupe, so they renew their vows in late Season 1.
Avtaar Singh[]
Himani bears a very loving relationship with her husband. They argue about a lot of little things, but reconcile shortly and raise all their children well.
Rohan Singh[]
Himani adores Rohan and does not worry about him much. She believes in him, and is only disturbed when she and Avtaar have to face the consequences of the boys' pranks. Even when Rohan quits college, they remain supportive.
Dolly Singh[]
Himani finds a reflection of her dramatic self in Dolly as she is also interested in media like Himani. She often encourages and ends up interfering in her projects. She also tries to know more about her social life by interacting with other parents.
Sunny Singh[]
Himani's fun and prankster side is reflected in Sunny. Sunny and Himani play sports and video games together and tend to get very competitive. She snoops around in Sunny's social life to get to know about his girlfriends. Sunny's antics drive both Himani and Avtaar up a wall, especially when he steals from and troubles his teachers and the neighbour Roli aunty.
Nikki Singh[]
Himani treasures Nikki and tries to spend a lot of time with her doing fun activities. She wants Nikki to be emotionally attached to her too and tries to inspire her with every new hobby.
Bobby Singh[]
Bobby is introduced in Season 4 and we see very less of him, but it's evident that Himani would share a loving relationship with him as well.
